Game Show, Eugene Oregon 2010

Game Show is a responsive liquid crystal tapestry hung in the entrance of the Matthew Knight Arena at the University of Oregon in Eugene. The artwork tracks realtime movement of play on the basketball and volleyball court using an overhead camera and bespoke software. Live activity is displayed on a three dimensional liquid crystal surface, in the deep greens and lightning yellows of the team strip.
